So how is the manifesting coming. I want to talk to you about Manifesting your Glitter Miracles. Seen any faerie dust? Make any connections yet? No? Why? Well I will tell you. The reason this work is so hard is that you make it hard. You stand in your own way. What is your greatest fear? What is your greatest dream? Now tell me do they conflict? Are you sinking your own rowboat by not allowing the miracles in. If you have been cold calling and working your dreams you should have heard back from someone about something. If not have you picked up the phone and asked for what you want? You cannot sit and wait for the world to come to you. Life doesn’t work that way. I often repeat this word or that word is a verb. In work as in healing everything you do will be an action. Inaction is the fastest road to mediocrity I know. Inaction gets you just what you have and that is why your here to get unstuck. So here are some actions to take to get your glitter miracles moving.
Make three calls today that deal only with the goals that you are working to attain.
Make three contacts today that deal in the field that you wish to work in or can help in your healing.
Learn how to say no to work that get’s you no where. I use to Volunteer with a group that did great work. You had to pay to volunteer so that $250.00 bucks went down the drain literally. Because do you know what the best part of the group was and the best work??? The meetings because we had lovely catered meals and wine and learned ways to help others and then drank a little more wine but when push came to shove we were not in the trenches often. So not a whole lot got done. But this group was a master of publicity and grant writing; so crafty Callie learned a lot about libating people and taking a credit card. Point being if your networking is to volunteer with a group that does not enhance your business… Quit and find one that does. Network online. And call companies like yours and get to know the CEO or the equivalent in your job. Connections result in action. Sooner or later you will be asked to get things moving.
And make a file for each person you speak with. What are their kids names, their likes, dislikes, ideas, what do they mention sports, wine, cigars.. keep tabs it helps relate and you also have great openings to conversations on cold calls. Hey Bill did you see LSU play last night? How about those tigers? Or… I just tried the best table wine and thought you might like it, explain bring over a bottle then ask for work or help with an idea.. Sells is all about relationships.
Making money is only a transference of energy so get over the idea of money and charge what you are worth and close the deal. If you have someone on the phone now, don’t risk that you might get another chance book it, set the date, make the plan. Don’t let it slip away and for heavens sakes don’t lead into an appointment with” what would be great for you?” Normally that results in , “I don’t know or let me check!” No… that is a dead in the water answer. Instead give three dates and times and ask which is best them and book it. Then close it and have your paperwork or brochures ready, get a check now. Don’t be shy people know things cost. When you are finished with your presentation say great we are on for Tuesday at three p.m. and the fee is$180.00 let me collect that now so we don’t waste precious time on tomorrow’s consult. Or the moment someone connects with you on skype or in person get the fee first then finish the coaching.
You can learn a lot from small cash businesses but if you live in America the chances that you get a mani-pedi twice a month is high and what is the first thing those industrious ladies do. They ask for your payment so you don’t mess your nails up when they are finished.. Smart girls.. As a small bs. owner it is very likey people will not pay you so obtaining payment is key. If you run semiars get paid up front or split the payments on a debit or credit card and set a date for the money to come out and a reminder to get one payment now one on the 21st no matter what.
